Who we are

LiftPage is a free service that helps families in crisis create a single shareable page linking their community to ways they can help. We are based in Omaha, Nebraska.

We never handle money. Every financial link on a LiftPage points to a third-party platform (GoFundMe, Venmo, etc.) that operates under its own terms and privacy policy.

What information we collect

Information you give us

When creating a LiftPage:

• Your name
• A description of your situation
• A private street address (never published — used only to identify local resources near you)
• Your zip code (used for search and local resource matching)
• Your contact email address (used only to send you coordination notifications)
• Photos you choose to upload
• Links to third-party platforms you select
• Community context (church name, school name, etc.) if you choose to provide it
• Verifier information if you choose to add one

When signing up to help on a LiftPage:

• Your first name
• Your email address (optional — used only to send you a confirmation)
• Your phone number (optional)
• Details of what you signed up for (meal slot, carpool, etc.)

When adding your name to a prayer chain:

• Your first name
• An optional personal note

Information we collect automatically

When you visit liftpage.org we collect standard web analytics data including pages visited, time on site, and general geographic region. We do not use advertising trackers or sell this data.

How we use your information

We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with advertisers. Sponsors see aggregate placement data only — never individual user data.

Your private address

Your street address is one of the most sensitive pieces of information you share with us. Here is our specific commitment:

• Your address is never displayed on your LiftPage or in any public search result
• Your address is stored in our database and used only to determine your general area for local resource matching
• Only the city and state derived from your address may appear publicly on your LiftPage
• You may request deletion of your address at any time by contacting us

Sponsors and advertising

LiftPage displays sponsor placements on supporter pages. These are static placements — sponsors pay for visibility, not access to your data. Sponsors do not receive your name, address, email, or any personally identifying information.

Local sponsor placements are determined by your zip code area. A restoration company in Omaha may appear on LiftPages in the Omaha area. They do not know who you are — only that a LiftPage exists in their service area.

Third-party platforms

LiftPage links to third-party platforms including GoFundMe, Amazon, Venmo, Meal Train, Red Cross, and others. When you click these links you leave LiftPage and are subject to the privacy policies of those platforms. We have no control over and no responsibility for their data practices.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and access controls.

Your LiftPage management URL contains a unique security token. Anyone with this URL can edit your page. Keep it private and treat it like a password.

How long we keep your data

Active LiftPages and their associated data are retained for as long as the page is active. When you close your LiftPage we retain the data for 90 days before permanent deletion, in case you need to reopen it.

You may request immediate deletion of your LiftPage and all associated data at any time by contacting us using the form at liftpage.org/contact.

Children's privacy

LiftPage is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through LiftPage please contact us immediately.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw consent at any time

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on liftpage.org. Continued use of LiftPage after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
